Kodiak Gas Services is one of the largest contract compression providers in the United States and took the leap to relocate its headquarters to a consolidated home in The Woodlands at the iconic Anadarko Hackett Tower. This move represented more than just a change of address; it was an opportunity to unify their workforce under one roof and create a space that reflects both their industry leadership and their strong company identity. 

To bring this vision to life, Workspace Resource partnered with Kirksey Architecture, O’Donnell/Snider Construction, and MDI to deliver a space that closely signed with the renderings and design direction. A central focus was incorporating Kodiak’s branding, with rich greens carried through finishings and furnishing to create a cohesive, branded look. Across the offices, executive offices, conference rooms, and micro-offices, desking solutions from Darran and seating from OFS and Encore establish a modern yet functional foundation. Breakrooms were outfitted with a mix of OFS, Grand Rapids, and Encore solutions to create spaces that feel fresh, inviting, and distinctly Kodiak.

Cost-efficiency was achieved for this project by reusing much of Kodiak’s existing desk and conference furniture while also integrating seamlessly into the new layout. These familiar elements were paired with new seating in brand colors and updated ancillary pieces. The result is a workplace that blends the old with the new to meet both budget and design goals.

One of the highlights of this project is the emphasis on hospitality and comfort in the lounge areas. From the executive lounge just outside the boardroom to the reception space and breakroom, each area was thoughtfully designed to provide moments of connection, relaxation, and collaboration. Soft seating from OFS and Encore supports casual conversations, quick huddles, and informal gatherings while the polished design maintains the professionalism expected in a Class A office tower.

Although the original project with Kodiak was for two floors, the company continued partnering with Workspace Resource when they needed to expand to another floor after a major acquisition.
