Located in The Woodlands, Texas, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is a premier outdoor amphitheater known for bringing world-class music and entertainment to the community. As part of a complete remodel of its main offices, the Pavilion wanted to create a fresh, updated workplace that reflected both the professionalism of its team and the energy of the entertainment industry.

Workspace Resource collaborated closely with Amanda Heineman of Studio Heineman to bring the Pavilion’s vision to life through clean, bright finishes, modern furniture selections, and thoughtful pops of color throughout the space. The design was intentionally coordinated with the Pavilion’s collection of music memorabilia, including band posters, backstage passes, vinyl records, guitars, and other pieces that celebrate its connection to live entertainment. These personal elements helped create a workplace that feels uniquely tied to the Pavilion’s identity and culture.

The full-office renovation included private offices, workstations, conference rooms, and reception and lounge areas. OFS Staks was used throughout the majority of the private offices and workstations to create a cohesive look across the building, while every office and workstation was designed with height-adjustable surfaces to provide employees with greater flexibility and comfort throughout the workday. Conference areas feature Enwork tables paired with OFS Revel and Marco seating, including vibrant Poppy-colored chairs that add another layer of personality to the space. Clarus glass boards were also incorporated to provide functional collaboration surfaces while maintaining the clean, contemporary aesthetic.

Comfortable guest and lounge seating from Grand Rapids Chair, Encore, and Arcadia was incorporated throughout the private offices and larger executive spaces. One of the highlights of the project is the reception lounge, where a curated mix of furnishings from Leland, Blu Dot, Crate & Barrel, and CB2 creates a welcoming, hospitality-inspired environment. Custom rugs, occasional tables, lounge seating, and a Blu Dot credenza come together to make the reception area feel polished, comfortable, and inviting from the moment guests enter.

We are proud to have partnered with Studio Heineman and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on a project that blends functionality, comfort, and personality. The completed space provides the Pavilion team with a bright and flexible workplace that supports their day-to-day needs while celebrating the music, creativity, and experiences that make the organization such an important part of The Woodlands community.
